Acupuncture on the High Seas!
Most of my clients know I went on an Alaskan cruise in May. It was a terrific opportunity to see the glaciers and be re-united with my Seattle friends. Of the 2,000 passengers, 150 of us were part of SeaSocks, a knitting cruise with classes and yarny treats. My friends and I occupied 2 quad cabins (bunk beds!) and had an utter blast despite the stormy weather.
Of course I brought my needles, and treated quite a few people for seasickness. Word spread and soon I was booked solid for the week.
In addition to motion sickness, I helped with headaches, sleep problems, and a startling number of repetitive stress injuries. Yes, knitting can be dangerous!
The most fascinating thing was how quickly everybody responded. Usually I leave the needles in for 15-30 minutes, depending on the type of treatment, but on the ship everybody was done "cooking" in 5-10 minutes! Even the bodywork was easier. Muscles were fixing under my fingertips like magic. Hmm...Maybe I should put in a waterbed instead of my table?
Friends and Family
I've introduced a new package: 4 initial sessions for just $250. This is a great way to get the whole family treated. You can use the gift certificates as presents, corporate rewards, or just to say "Thanks!" to someone special in your life.
Note: The Friends & Family Package is for first treatments only, so they must be used by 4 different people. Non-specific packages of 4 sessions are $280.
